Through intentional relationships and practical discipleship, we equip followers of Jesus to live fruitfully, stand firm on God’s Word, and multiply their faith.
The Equipped Disciple experience is an 11-week small group journey designed to be utilized 2-3 times each year to bring powerful rhythms of discipleship into the life of each participant and into the life of your church and community.
A 3-Part 11-Week Training Series
The primary objective this training series is to take life changing steps toward a closer, more intimate relationship with God by learning, practicing, and becoming consistent in the basics. Each class is 11 weeks long and builds on the previous class.
Equipped Disciple 1
Equipped Disciple 1 introduces you to the basic disciplines that transform your walk with Christ, providing you with a keener sense of priorities and a renewed concern for your non-Christian friends. The basic disciplines taught in ED 1 are reading the Bible regularly, communicating with God through prayer, and systematic scripture memory.
Equipped Disciple 2
Equipped Disciple 2 takes the roots established in the first class deeper into the fertile soil of a growing relationship with God. You will experience transformation and victory as you consistently practice the basics and grow in the areas of God’s Word, prayer, fellowship, and sharing your faith. Graduation from ED 1 is a prerequisite to attending ED 2.
Equipped Disciple 3
Equipped Disciple 3 equips you to branch out and impact your world as you continue to grow in character and skill through the practice of the disciplines of fruitful living. Intimacy with God will form in you a strong desire for a lifelong commitment of knowing Christ and making Christ known. Graduation from ED 1 & 2 is a prerequisite to attending ED 3.

Through the context of personal time with God and small group interaction, experience life transformation as you consistently practice and grow in the areas of Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and sharing your faith.
Lives Changed through Discipleship
Participants share how God used it to transform their marriages, deepen their prayer lives, strengthen their understanding of Scripture, and give them confidence to share their faith. Through practical tools, intentional relationships, and consistent time in God’s Word, believers move from simply knowing about God to walking intimately with Him as Lord and Master. The series provides a clear, transferable path for spiritual growth—helping followers of Christ become rooted in Scripture, consistent in prayer, authentic in community, and equipped to multiply their faith in others.

Who are Equipped Disciples?
We are a community of believers who believe spiritual maturity happens best in relationship—with God, His Word, and one another.
Equipped Disciple is designed to help followers of Jesus move beyond spiritual comfort into spiritual confidence—learning how to feed themselves daily, apply biblical truth in practical ways, and walk with others toward growth.
Discipleship for us isn’t a class; it’s a lifestyle. We gather to study, share, and hold one another accountable, but we also live out what we learn beyond the meeting. Our leaders don’t stand above the group—they walk alongside it, guiding discussions, modeling consistency, and encouraging growth.
Each participant brings their own story, personality, and gifts, yet we’re all moving in the same direction: to be shaped by Christ and to help others do the same. The tools we use are simple and transferable, built on biblical principles that have helped believers for generations.
Our hope is to see believers strengthened, leaders developed, and the church renewed—one life at a time. When we stay faithful to the process, God produces fruit that endures: disciples who disciple others.

Through intentional relationships, practical training, and life-on-life discipleship, we seek to develop followers of Jesus who live fruitfully, stand firmly on God’s Word, and multiply their faith in others. Our aim is not to build a program, but to cultivate a movement of men and women who are rooted in Scripture, devoted to prayer, accountable in community, and ready to serve wherever God calls.

Can I start with any of the classes, or do I have to start at Equipped Disciple 1?
Equipped Disciple is a three-part training series. Each class (Equipped Disciple 1, Equipped Disciple 2, Equipped Disciple 3) is 11 weeks long and builds on the previous class. All participants start with Equipped Disciple 1 and are encouraged to complete Equipped Disciple 2 and 3.

How much does it cost?
Each class costs $20 per person which covers the course and the book.
Does Equipped Disciple have online opportunities?
Equipped Disciple is currently meeting in-person only on the Watermark Dallas Campus and Timber Creek Church Nacogdoches Campus. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have a special circumstance or would like to request an online group.
Do you have to be a member of a church to participate?
Membership is not required to participate.
What is the commitment to be a part of Equipped Disciple?
Equipped Disciple is an 11-week experience. Each week your Equipped Disciple Group will meet for 1.5 hours. To enable the individual and the group to have the most effective experience possible, we ask that Equipped Disciple participants prioritize missing no more than two meetings.
